The Australian Catholic Bishops have launched their 2023-24 social justice statement, titled ‘Listen, Learn, Love’ which calls for new engagement with First Australians.

In a departure from tradition, this year’s statement is in two parts: the first is written by the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Catholic Council (NATSICC) and the second part is the bishops’ response.

The launch event was held at Holy Family Primary School in Sydney’s west.
