In light of recent developments uncovered by Nine Media the push for a Royal Commission into Immigration Detention – supported by the Justice and Peace Office – has gathered further momentum.

All the independent members of the House of Representatives jointly issued a call for a Royal Commission on Tuesday 1 August. The move is also supported by the Greens.
