Sunday 19 November marked the World Day of the Poor.

To mark the occasion, the Archdiocese held a Street Feast in the forecourt of St Mary’s Cathedral on Friday 17 November, in what has become an annual tradition.

Organisations supporting the homeless and others doing it tough invited clients to the Cathedral to join Archbishop Anthony Fisher for a free luncheon.

The day was organised by the Justice and Peace Office, PAYCE Foundation and St Merkorious Charity with the support of Vinnies, David’s Place, Thread Together, Catholic Care, Catholic Healthcare and many others.
