Suitcase Stories 2016 – True Life Stories of the Refugee Journey
Young refugees from the Treehouse Theatre share their stories at the Seymour Centre this November 2016.
From the Seymour Centre website:
Coming from countries such as Iraq, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Iran, Bhutan and South Sudan, each Suitcase cast member is a survivor of the world events we witness daily on the evening news. Each performs their own story of escape, survival and eventual triumph through a powerful fusion of spoken word, movement, sound, light and projected imagery…
Previous productions have received standing ovations from school groups and adult audiences, including the Sydney Writers’ Festival.
