St. Bakhita’s Day Ethical Sourcing Expo

The Archdiocese of Sydney’s Anti-Slavery Taskforce is hosting the St. Bakhita’s Day Ethical Sourcing Expo on Friday 8th February 2019 at Cathedral Hall, St Mary’s Cathedral Sydney. The 8th of February is the feast day of St. Josephine Bakhita (the patron saint of survivors of slavery and human trafficking) and commemorates the International Day of Prayer and Awareness against Trafficking in Persons.

Come to the expo to learn how you can take action to eradicate modern slavery and human trafficking from our world. You will hear from church, business and government and community leaders about modern slavery and what can be done to address it in our homes, workplaces and communities.
