Our final Act Justly for 2017 is here! This Issue contains a summary of our last social justice gathering in October and work that resulted from that. We also look at how the First World Day of the Poor was celebrated and we share some ideas about how you can strive for a more just Christmas season this year and give you a preview of what to look forward to in 2018.
We report on a celebration for one success for refugees and asylum seekers and we provide you with an update on our housing affordability campaign. We also draw your attention to the deteriorating situation on Manus Island.
As always, we clue you in on what social justice groups in parishes have been working on and note upcoming events which you can get involved in.
We wish you a Holy Christmas and a hope-filled 2018.
Blessings, JPO Team
