7PM Mass with Choir
8PM Dinner @ Frisco Hotel | Coats for the Homeless
First up is Adoration, where we can directly behold God. Members are encouraged to pray for the people we help in our charitable works.
Then we have Holy Mass, celebrated by our charismatic Chaplain, Fr Nicholas.
Finally, we saunter to Frisco’s Pub for fine fare, on the same street as St Collumbkille’s. While most of us warm our spirits with a few ales, a small group will distribute the Order’s ‘Coats for the Homeless’, to warm our homeless brothers and sisters in this weather!
St Collumbkille’s is in the Cathedral Parish and is quite an old but little used Church. Its beautiful high altar is pictured below.
The Young Order of Malta supports the Order of Malta in Australia in its mission to Defend the Faith and Serve the Poor.
The head of the Order is the Grand Master, Fra’ Matthew Festing & the Cardinal Protector is +Raymond Leo Cardinal Burke. The Order has many of its own canonised Saints and has served Our Lords the Sick & Poor around the world for over 900 years!
See directions to the St Collumbkille Church below.
Walking and public transport are recommended because there isn’t much parking. Guests are strongly recommended to arrive in a group and follow common sense regarding safety – inbox the fb page for further assistance, or call 0409 806 394
