New issue of Act Justly is out now!
Act Justly – February March 2017
Our latest issue , ‘A Just Peace’, gathers together different Catholic voices in Sydney to explore how we are actively practicing our faith in the world. In this issue:
- Fr Claude Mostowik MSC, President of Pax Christie Australia, explains why we need to change our conversation from just war theory to one about a just peace.
- Sr Margaret Ng RSJ, Coordinator of the Josephite Counter-Trafficking Project, reflects on her personal journey with survivors of human trafficking.
- Brian Norman, a parishioner from Terrey Hills, and Anne Lanyon, Co-ordinator at the Centre for Peace, Ecology and Justice at the Columban Mission Institute, share their experience finding the sacred in their work connecting the parish to the local environment.
- Sue Buckingham, Co-ordinator at David’s Place, invites us to a place of friendship, prayer and camaraderie in inner Sydney.
- Find out what’s happening in Sydney this February and March.
- Learn more about how Sydney Catholics are putting their faith into action… and how you can, too!
