A Community Conversation – 8 November 2018, North Sydney

A Community Conversation about Refugees and People Seeking Protection

Pope Francis has asked us to “welcome, protect, promote and integrate refugees and migrants.”

How can we do this? Join a group of parishioners in a Table Talk conversation about refugees and people seeking asylum in Australia.

Date: Thursday 8th November 2018
Time:
6:30 for 7 pm start – 9 pm
Venue:
Ron Dyer Centre, 40 Ridge Street (behind St. Mary’s church), North Sydney.

A Table Talk is a conversation inside a local community about and with people seeking asylum; parishioners will have an opportunity to engage with the real stories of people seeking asylum and to build relationships with them by meeting them face to face.

The event will be facilitated by Jesuit Refugee Service in partnership with  Sydney Alliance.
